The Erotic Delights of Victorian Lingerie.

These days the word "bloomers" conjures up sexy images of buxom maids wearing split rear undergarments beneath their skirts along with woolen stockings or cotton leggings. Actually, bloomers were a fashion trend created by Amelia Bloomer of New York in the early 1850's that came over from the States during the time of the Womens Emancipation Movement and were not seen as underwear at all and more as "trousers" that women could wear outdoors. Nothing is more erotic than seeing a shapely bottom peeking out of a pair of unbuttoned bloomers or pantalettes.
